I used to fold this origami sampan (boat) when I was a kid. I don't remember how or when I learned to fold.

All I remember is how much fun I had!

The best part is that it really is not difficult to make!

You can make a larger one if you start with a larger piece of paper...or you can even use velvet cloth and make it real nice!

If you're using cloth, velcro may come in handy to help the folds stay in place.
