Lets Make Origami

Organizatorii pentru aceasta editie au fost cei de la liceul "Miron Costin" din Iasi. Au participat peste 1000 de persoane, din 13 tari: Romania, Republica Moldova, Rusia, Polonia, SUA, Chille, Coreea de Sud, Brazilia ....

In cadrul festivalului a fost si un concurs de Haiku, care - din cate am inteles - a avut ca tema origami. Au fost premiate 3 persoane, pentru poeziile prezentate.
Mi-a placut foarte mult haiku-ul acesta, compus de Vasile Moldovan:

"Listening to the flight
of a thousand white paper cranes...
a blind war veteran"

Si acesta, al Simonei Dobrescu-Craciun:

"Origami cranes
going away with the wind -
a morning prayer"

This is a project that started in Russia in 2000 and each eddition is held by another country. This year the OPT host will be Romania.

Everyone is invited to participate in this beautiful event to enrich the Origami Garden with another tree. You can send up to 3 origami figures that will become part of the exposition.
